Northeast Monsoon has been active for the past few days. The activity has been good over Tamil Nadu and the adjoining region of Kerala.
This weather activity will be seen for the next two to three days due to northeasterly streaming winds and many parts of Peninsular India may see some rainfall.
However, after that, the scenario will change a little in terms of systems, as a fresh system will come up in the Bay of Bengal, which will come closer to the coastline of Tamil Nadu and will influence the weather in Tamil Nadu, especially the coastline. With this, weather activities will still continue over the South Indian region.
In fact, Chennai, which has already been recording some good showers for the past few days will continue to see rainfall activity for about a week or so. States of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Mahe, South Interior Karnataka will be the ones experiencing rainfall activities.
