Northeast Monsoon is all set to enter a milder phase over the South Peninsular region. So much so that all the five sub divisions including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema will be seeing lesser rains.
The main system which had been giving rains over these sub divisions has now weakened and is now moving away far to the west. There may be some rainfall activity in the next 48 hours, but thereafter, there may be a slowdown in rains over these areas.
A new system is coming up over North Andaman Sea but it will not have any significant impact over Southern Peninsula. The remaining days of November will be a lkittle weak in pockets.
For instance, today South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will see some rains. Tomorrow, Kerala and Coastal Andhra Pradesh will be seeing some light to moderate rains. Around November 26, parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala may see some light rains. By the end of the month, rains will be seen over Kerala.
Even though some rains may be seen, these will not be heavy at all, and will remain mostly light with isolated moderate spells. All in all, Northeast Monsoon will be on the milder side for the rest of November.
