Northeast monsoon has made a halt in south India with rain easing in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. Though, isolated rain could take place in these states.

Coastal parts of Tamil Nadu will continue to witness some more rain in the next 24 hours. Wind conditions here will remain northeasterly due to which there will be moisture in the region and sky will be partly cloudy.

Day temperatures that had fallen by 5-6 degrees due to continuous rain have become normal now. On the other hand, night temperatures will remain in early twenties in interior parts of southern Peninsula. Coastal areas will have near normal day temperatures but night will be warm with minimums settling in the mid-twenties.

Remnants of the just passed Western Disturbance over northeast region will give scattered rain over Arunachal Pradesh. Night temperatures in these areas will be above normal while maximums will be near normal.
