Unseasonal snow has been observed over Jammu and Kashmir in association with the last system over Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and adjoining even the day before yesterday. The system has moved away now.
A Fresh Western Disturbance is expected around May 12. Until then, clear weather conditions are likely over the hills on May 10 and 11.
The system will be feeble as compared to the previous system which resulted in unseasonal snow over the upper reaches and widespread rains.
Hilly states will see rain and thundershowers, which will persist over these areas until May 15. Moreover, on May 13 and 14, the foothills of Punjab and Haryana may see some weather in terms of rain as well.
