People across North India will continue to witness pleasant weather conditions during the next 24 hours. Light rain along with dust storms in last 24 hours have led to significant drop in the temperatures across the northern plains, bringing relief from scorching sun.
Both the maximum and minimum temperatures have been settling well below normal, by at least two to four degrees.
As per the latest forecast by Skymet, parts of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi-NCR, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh can receive scattered rain and thunder storm activities on Sunday. Monday could also see some weather activity but with reduced intensity.
Temperatures will remain comfortable for next 48 hours, thereafter witnessing a gradual increase. Recent showers will also leave lot of moisture in the air, resulting in increased humidity levels which will add to discomfort along with rising day temperatures.
According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, a cyclonic circulation over Haryana and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh is causing the weather over the region.
