North India to see weather activities for a couple of more days

The country's northwestern regions have been experiencing pleasant weather conditions with temperatures consistently below average. The occurrence of consecutive western disturbances, along with their associated atmospheric circulations, has resulted in favourable pre-monsoon activities in the northern plains of India for a considerable duration.

However, there has been a slight decline in these activities over the past couple of days. Although the intensity will further diminish, there is a possibility of light and scattered pre-monsoon activities in areas such as Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan over the next two days. Moreover, even the mountains may see some weather activity for the next couple of days.

Temperatures are currently settling in the mid-30s, remaining below normal levels. There might be a marginal increase in temperatures over the next five days. Some regions could witness maximum temperatures reaching around 40 degrees Celsius after June 8. Subsequently, the absence of any significant weather system will lead to the gradual buildup of heat across most parts of North India.
