North India all set to see increase in minimums

For the second consecutive day, the plains of North India have seen many parts observing minimum in single digit. After being in the double digit for a very long time, for the past couple of days minimums have dropped to single digit due to the absence of any weather system over the western Himalayas.

Cities of Bathinda, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Pathankot, Karnal, Ferozepur, Hisar and other parts saw minimums in the lower regions. However, now the temperatures will now increase within 48 hours due to the approach of a western disturbance. Thereafter, due to the persistence of western disturbances we can expect minimums to even climb in the teens.

However, there is not likely to be any weather activity over these areas. The weather highlight for the plains of north India for now is only expected to be fluctuation in temperatures due to the weather changes in the Western Himalayan region.
