North-coastal Odisha may get scattered light rains

Odisha has not witnessed any rainfall activity from the past few days. Rains stayed away from the state due to the absence of any significant weather system. However, few weather systems have stationed near Odisha.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, a trough is extending from Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura to southwest Bay of Bengal close to Sri Lanka. Isolated rain activity is a chance over the state. In wake of these combined weather systems, north and coastal districts of the state may record rainfall activity.

However, there will not be any significant rainfall activity over the state. The temperatures levels are likely to drop over the state. Marginal drop in mercury levels will be visible during the morning and night hours. Presently, the temperatures are settling near normal over the state.

Scattered fog and mist during is visible and will continue to occur during the morning over the state. The sky conditions will be partly cloudy but it may become cloudy at times. The weather will become dry after 24 hours but comfortable conditions will persist. After a gap of three to four days, scattered rainfall activity will once again occur over the districts of Odisha.
