Delhi has been experiencing high temperatures for the past few days. In fact, maximums have been settling above 45 degrees in many parts of Delhi.
Talking about the maximum temperature recorded yesterday, Mungeshpur witnessed a whopping 46.3 degrees Celsius, Jafarpur 44.7 degrees, Najafrgarh 45.9 degrees, Safdarjung 43.5 degrees, and Palam 44 degrees.
No respite from the hot weather conditions is expected in the coming 3-4 days. Temperatures are not amounting to heat wave in all places but pockets have been seeing heat wave conditions.
Strong winds have been kicking up some dust, these conditions are going to remain similar. Models are showing some sort of a spike, and there is little outside chance of some thunderstorm activity around June 11 and 12. Heat will act as a trigger, and a little change in winds will be seen.
However, around June 15, there may be some thunderstorms and rain activity for a couple of days. During that time, winds will slow down, temperatures will drop thus residents will see a respite from the ongoing weather conditions.
