Most states of South India are under the influence of warm and dry weather. Rains have not poured over the state of Telangana from more than a month. At present also, most regions of Telangana are reeling under dry and very warm weather condition.
Moreover, day temperatures are also mounting above normal in most parts of the state. In fact, in last 24 hours as well, the day temperatures in most parts of the state are seen settling one or two notches above the normal.
During the last 24 hours, maximum temperature observed in the capital city Hyderabad was 35°C which is a degree above the normal, Nizamabad and Ramagundam both recorded the maximum settling at 35.4°C each.
As per Skymet Weather, the reason for the rising temperatures in Telangana can be attributed to the dry northerly and northwesterly winds prevailing over the region. Moreover, the similar weather pattern is likely to remain for another 24 hours.
However, an anti-cyclonic circulation which is currently over Madhya Pradesh is likely to shift further west towards the sea. This is expected to bring down the maximums while the minimums are likely to scale up after 48 hours.
The chances of sky becoming partly cloudy also exist but the possibility of any rainy spells is not foreseen in the near future.
