The maximums and minimums have been rising in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from the last 48 hours. For instance, the day temperature of Ramagundam has settled at 33.6 degrees Celsius, Nizamabad observed its day temperature settling at 33.1 degrees, while Hanamkonda observed 33.0 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, a few cities in Andhra Pradesh such as Anantapur saw its day temperature settle at 34.7 degrees Celsius. Kadapa observed 35.5 degrees Celsius, while Vijayawada observed 35.6 degrees Celsius as its day temperature.

The formation of an anti-cyclonic circulation over the west-central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast was responsible for these rising temperatures. Both states have been witnessing dry weather conditions only.

Currently, the days are very warm and humid with a clear sky and ample sunshine, while the nights are cool and pleasant.

Looking at the forecast, and in the absence of any weather system, we do not expect any weather activity to take place for the next 48 hours. However, similar weather conditions will continue during the next three to four days in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

From today onwards, Southeasterly-southerly winds which will be moist and warm in nature will be blowing across these states and will continue for the next three to four days. In the presence of these winds, the maximum temperature will continue to rise gradually. But, it will not be able to provide any significant rainfall activity due to less moisture content.
