No rain expected during Vizag ODI

November 22, 2013 4:42 PM |

India is already one up in the three-match ODI series against West Indies and is now eyeing to wrap up the series with a victory in the Vizag ODI, slated to be played in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

The fear of rain looming large in the city due to Cyclone Helen has also cleared off, giving India an opportunity to finish the series early.

Over 100 mm of heavy rain has already been recorded at Visakhapatnam since Thursday and more rain is expected to occur for the next 24 hours with Helen making landfall at Machilipatnam. But thankfully this weather in the city will not carry over to Sunday, allowing the match to be played according to schedule.

However, there will be some clouds in the sky with possibility of light drizzle during the match. This will not be significant enough to play spoils sport for Indian fans.
