Nil visibility reported in Lucknow, fog in Delhi to remain better

Fog in Delhi continued to remain better as the lowest visibility was recorded at around 700 meters today. Visibility in Amritsar has dropped a bit today to 200 meters as the city witnessed dense fog for few hours in early morning.

Lucknow has recorded nil visibility from midnight till 4 am while Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Patna and Gaya have also witnessed dense to very dense fog conditions during which visibility hovered between 50 to 100 meters today.

Forecast indicates that fog in Delhi will continue to remain shallow during the next two days and it will not affect flight services. East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas of Bihar will continue to experience dense to very dense fog during morning hours and train services during this period will remain affected.

Day temperature in Delhi will again be in early twenties as sky will become more clear during the afternoon. Night temperature will remain around 10 degrees due to high and medium level clouds.
