New Year Weather Forecast Across Major Cities Of India

The year 2016 has been phenomenon in terms of weather over Indian sub-continent. For the first time in last few years, the Southwest Monsoon has been normal. But the southern part of India remained rainless for most parts of the year. Even with multiple storms forming over the Bay of Bengal, any major cyclone threat remained at bay only with recent mar of Cyclone Vardah over Chennai took 18 lives.

As the year ends, major cities across the country will witness varied temperatures and weather conditions. From foggy streets of Delhi and Lucknow to clear weather of Mumbai and Pune to light rain activity over Chennai and Patna, let’s see how the weather will fan out across India on December 31 and January 01.

New Delhi

The National Capital of India, New Delhi is most likely to witness moderate to dense fog during morning hours of December 31 and on January 01. People are advised to stay put and not to venture out to avoid any sort of road accidents.
