The spread of rains was much more over Konkan division wherein, light to moderate rains occurred over South Konkan division. On the other hand, Marathwada continued to remain mainly dry. The intensity of rains was light over North Konkan and North Madhya Maharashtra.
In the last 24 hours, from 08:30 am on Thursday, Nagpur recorded 27 mm of rain, Mahabaleshwar 17 mm, Matheran 9 mm, Mumbai Santa Cruz 7 mm, Ratnagiri 7 mm, Alibag 4 mm, Colaba 3 mm, Akola 3 mm, Harnai 3 mm, and Vengurla recorded 2 mm of rains.

Vidarbha may receive moderate showers for the next 24 hours, thereafter the intensity is likely to drop over Vidarbha.
