The entire Maharashtra, except the coastal areas, is in a tight grip drought and heatwave. The water crisis in the region has reached in palpable conditions. And it seems that only a good monsoon can save the dilapidated state. There is city in the dry state, entrenched in heat finds a way to beat the heat that might be fickle to think about but actually makes sense.
Nagpur has been sweltering in heatwave conditions from the past 10 to 15 days. The temperatures are over 42°C-44°C and to beat the civic authorities have come up with false green roof at the traffic signals to lower the plight of commuters.
