After a long gap, rainfall activity was witnessed over Northeast India. While the intensity of rains was not much, it did give relief from the prolonged dry spell. Moreover, many districts of Nagaland witnessed rainy spells of varying intensity.

These rains can be attributed to the cyclonic circulation which was over Nagaland and adjoining areas. In fact, the remnants of the Western Disturbances which were passing through the foothills of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh across Nagaland were equally responsible for the rainfall activity.
As per Skymet weather, isolated rainfall activity is expected to continue over the northern parts of the state until today. The sky will remain partly cloudy to cloudy over the above-mentioned regions. By tomorrow, the weather is anticipated to clear up as the weather systems will dissipate.
With the abatement of rain, the maximum temperature is likely to rise by 1°C to 2°C. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures over Mon, Longleng and adjoining areas will witness a marginal fall.
As per weather forecasters, the possibility of the development of any weather system in proximity to Nagaland for the next few days is highly unlikely. Therefore, the weather will be dry and clear. Days would be warm and comfortable along with bright sunshine, but the nights will be cool.
