The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii is spewing a massive amount of molten lava into the Pacific Ocean. The heat of the lave spurred explosions as it flowed into the ocean. In fact, the debris were twice the height of the sea cliff.
The researchers captured the footage of the stream of lava which has caused hazardous conditions at seas as well as on land. Temperatures are also as high as 428°F and the stream of hot lava is touted to be 1-2 meter wide.
Last weekend, researchers had discovered a hot crack just above sea cliff from where the lava is now flowing out.
