The third cyclonic storm of the Northeast Monsoon season has formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal. The system has been giving heavy to very heavy rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands where hundreds of tourists remain stranded. Heavier rains are ahead for the region during the next 24 to 48 hours.
