Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Bulbul has been moving at a speed of 15 kmph and is over Northwest Bay of Bengal, near Lat. 20.55°N and Long. 87.75°E, about 95 km ESE of Paradip, 140 km SSW of Sagar Islands, 100 km SE of Chandbali, 130 km SSW of Digha and 320 km SSW of Khepupara (Bangladesh).
The system before making landfall is expected to weaken slightly, recurve northeastwards. It will make landfall over Coastal West Bengal and Bangladesh between Sagar Islands and Khepupara across Sundarbans delta tonight as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with wind speed of 110120 Kmph gusting to 135 Kmph.
