The city of Mumbai has not seen a good month of August and typical Mumbai rains have not been seen in a very long time now. The last time that the city has seen heavy rains was around August 9 at 124 mm. Since the last ten days, rains have been extremely less.
For one more week, Mumbai is expected to see sultry weather conditions with very little rain ranging in single digit only. Thereafter the city may expect some rainfall activity but it is too early to comment on that for now.
A system is coming in the Bay of Bengal soon, but it is too early to preempt as to when will the system will give rainfall over Mumbai. This particular system may provide some relief from the ongoing weather conditions.
