The middle of the week was one of the worst Mumbaikars may have seen in terms of rainfall. In fact, the city witnessed record breaking rains. So much so that in 24 hours, the Santa Cruz observatory recorded a whopping 331 mm of rains which was the highest rains in the last two decades as such.

Mumbaikars, who usually wait for some good rains during the Southwest Monsoon season seems to have had enough. So much so that the residents could do with some sunny days and pleasant weather conditions accompanied by drizzles in between.

However, now, it seems like weather gods are obliging to the requests of the Mumbaikars. The last 24 hours were also not as rainy for the city of Mumbai. In a span of 24 hours, the Santa Cruz observatory recorded 8 mm of rains. Meanwhile, rainfall activity was even lesser for Colaba wherein merely 3 mm of rainfall was recorded.
