We do not expect heavy rains over Mumbai for another 2 to 3 days. But patchy rains will continue.
There is the cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat and adjoining area. Cyclonic circulation will intensify, and the monsoon over Maharashtra will get activated by July 3rd or 4th.
Monsoon rains are expected to increase over Mumbai from July 4th and may continue until July 6 or 7. During that time, moderate rain with isolated heavy spells is possible over Mumbai and suburbs. These rains will drop the temperature and give much-needed relief from hot and humid weather conditions.
