Mumbai Rains have remained on the lower side with rainfall activity being only light in nature. There have been a few spells of intense rains but they only last for barely a few minutes. In fact, these rainfall activities will continue to be the same with the intensity not increasing at all for at least the next four to five days.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Tuesday, Santa Cruz observatory witnessed 4 mm of rains while Colaba observed light showers of 2 mm.

The month of July has been a good one in general for Mumbai with the city witnessing very good rains in the beginning at least. In fact, so far, Mumbai has already recorded 915 mm of rainfall which is way more than its monthly rains at 840.7 mm.

Now, Mumbai rains will remain on the lighter side and no heavy showers are expected. Moreover, the next four to five days will not see any intense activity in the city.

However, around July 22 and 23, the Monsoon surge is expected to increase and Mumbai rains during that time may see a revival. During that time, rains will be moderate in nature and heavy showers are ruled out for at least ten days or so.
