In fact, the capital city of Maharashtra witnessed a massive rainfall of over 300 mm which was the highest in a decade. This record-breaking rainfall activity in the city of Mumbai caused the residents to enter panic mode and many remained stranded in work due to waterlogging and severe traffic jams.
Tow days back, the city of Mumbai witnessed heavy rainfall with Santa Cruz observatory recording a good 64 mm of rainfall. However, rain intensity reduced drastically in the past 24 hours and many parts of the maximum city recorded very light rainfall.

The weather conditions over these areas will continue to remain pleasant. However, rainfall activity will remain on the lighter side only. The offshore trough which is running along the West Coast is also not in proximity of Mumbai. Thus, now only light rains are likely over the region for at least quite some time now.
