The city of Mumbai has been seeing rains of varied intensity for the past many days. Today, there may be some rains but with a reduced intensity. From tomorrow, the city of Mumbai will go into a lean phase. In fact, for the next one week, no problematic rains are expected and the residents will have to face no difficulty whatsoever. Rains will vary between light and moderate with no three digit rains not expected at all. No significant rains are expected in the coming few days.
Reason for the reduction in rains can be attributed to the shift of the system which is today over Arabian Sea and Saurashtra and Kutch region. Tomorrow, the system will move further away.
There is a fresh system forming over odisha and adjoining Bay of Bengal but it is not tracking like the previous systems and will move towards Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand etc. Thus, the West Coast will not get impacted due to this.
