The city of Mumbai has seen some good showers in September. However, in the past four days, rains have been on the lower side as had been reiterated by Skymet Weather. Rainfall has been almost nil in these days.
Now, we can expect Mumbai rains to pick up once again as the low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal and will move inland soon. The system will move closer to the central parts resulting in activation of Monsoon surge
Between September 16 and 19, rains in Mumbai will be seen. Rainfall will be more intense on September 18 and 19, wherein we can see heavy showers as well during this time.
Mumbai continues to rain in September irrespective of the beginning of the withdrawal of Monsoon from western and northern parts around September 17. Monsoon in Mumbai withdraws around October 7, which sometimes gets spilt over to later as well.
