The city of Mumbai has seen a good month of September in terms of rain. In fact, so far the city has recorded 300.5 mm of rain so far against the normal showers of 385 mm.
Heavier rains were seen on September 8 wherein 111 mm of rainfall was observed. Thereafter, moderate rains have continued. During the last 24 hours also, 28 mm of rain has been seen.
Moderate showers to the tune of 25-30 mm are expected to continue until Sep 20. The cyclonic circulation is over Gujarat and Rajasthan which will continue to result in moderate showers for the next couple of days. Thereafter, it will go light in nature until September 23.
Later on, a Low Pressure Area may form and rains may pick up around the weekend once again.
