Mumbai rains have made a comeback and the city has been receiving light to moderate rains with a few heavy spells in between. A day before, Santa Cruz recorded 36 mm of rains while Colaba saw 56 mm. It has been raining well and during the last 24 hours as well, moderate rains of 17 mm and 18 mm lashed Santa Cruz and Colaba, respectively.
Santa Cruz has seen 177 mm rains so far which is quite less as compared to the usual Mumbai rains in June but Colaba so far has recorded 291 mm rainfall.
In the coming days, all these pockets are going to see some rainfall activities. Heavier rains will be seen over Mumbai on June 23, June 24 and thereafter, from June 25, moderate showers will continue with isolated heavy spells in between.
Santa Cruz is way short of the normal rains of 493.1 mm of rains but another 200mm of rains does not seem unlikely. Colaba on the other hand may be able to reach its monthly target of June.
