Mumbai has been seeing decent rainfall activities for the past four days. In fact, the city has recorded 69 mm of rain during this time. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Mumbai recorded 19 mm of rainfall.
Now, the city of Mumbai is expected to continue seeing rains of light to moderate intensity for at least the next two to three days.
Thereafter, rainfall activity is expected to increase around September 24. In fact, on September 24-25, we can expect heavy spells over the city. After the 26th, rainfall activity is expected to reduce again.
So far in the month of September, Mumbai has recorded 341.5 mm of rainfall against the monthly average of 383.5 mm. With more rain in store for the city, the monthly target seems very easily achievable.
