The city of Mumbai has recorded 22 mm of rains in the last 24 hours, in fact, the city has also been seeing some rains in the past few days. Moreover, the city so far in 15 days of September has recorded 331 mm of rains.
Now also, rainfall activity is expected to continue over Mumbai for a few more days. While nothing heavy is expected for the next 3-4 days, we can see moderate rains over the city. Cloudy skies, intermittent showers with breaks in between will be a regular pattern for the capital city of Maharashtra in the coming few days.
The reason for these rains is that the Low Pressure area still hangs around north of Madhya Pradesh and is not likely to see any fast movement in the coming days. The impact of this system will be felt along the Konkan region.
