The rain intensity is expected to increase today and tomorrow. A few moderate showers are likely over the region. Also, one or two isolated intense spells cannot be ruled out.
A few low-lying areas might face some difficulties in terms of waterlogging and traffic disruptions.
As a relief, on and off rains and cloudy skies are here to bring a relief from sultry weather over Mumbai for at least until tomorrow. Following this, the rain intensity is expected to go down. Isolated patchy rains may follow thereafter as well.
Previously, Mumbai has received heavy rains on September 19 and 21. Since then only light isolated rains were going on over the city.
