Mumbai rains make a comeback giving a sneak peak of Monsoon

As reiterated by Skymet Weather, Mumbai rains have made a comeback after giving enough signs for the much-craved showers. The city remained parched for quite some time, however, rains made a reappearance over Mumbai yesterday.

While the Santa Cruz observatory recorded trace of rain, light showers were also recorded over other parts of the city. So much so that these light rains affected the train services on all four lines of the suburban railway system. A technical failure occurred at some of the major stations due to these rains resulting in local train chaos.

Mumbai rains also gave a bleak appearance during the early morning hours taking Twitter by storm. However, these rains lasted for a few minutes and were not very intense in nature.

Now, during the next few days, Mumbai will continue to receive on and off showers. Expect these rains between the late evening and early morning hours. These showers will be patchy in nature and will not be widespread.

Light showers every now and then will keep the residents of the maximum city hopeful for the upcoming Monsoon which will soon knock Mumbai’s doors.
