With the loud cheers of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ coming from every corner of Maximum City, the rains gods have also decided to open their gates to some of the splendid rains that the city has ever seen.
On the auspicious occasion of Ganapati Visarjan, Mumbai is witnessing rains that are expected to continue for the next 3-4 days. With such a perfect weather in place, the people should cancel their weekend plans and stay put in the city of dreams.
In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, the Colaba Observatory in Mumbai has received a whopping 49.4 mm of rainfall. And 64 mm of rains have happened over Santa Cruz Observatory from 11:30 PM to 02:30 PM today.
One has got to give it to the Mumbaikars for the uncompromising and unending energy as the Ganpati Visarjan and Mumbai Rains make the city a powerhouse:
