The Mumbaikars are celebrating Ganpati Mahotsav and these heavy rains have made the weather pleasant which has infused more zeal the people. However, these heavy rains can lead to traffic jams also. As per Skymet Weather, the weather system is likely to persist along the West Coast and thus heavy to extremely heavy rains will continue over Mumbai and adjoining regions.

Another Low-Pressure area is moving towards Konkan Coast which is at present over South Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Vidarbha region. These hefty showers are likely to continue over Mumbai for the next two to three days thereafter also moderate showers will continue.
