The city of Mumbai has had a fantabulous Monsoon in terms of rains this season. So much so that Mumbai has already surpassed its annual rains before even the month of August came to an end. Rains had displayed a bumper performance in the months of June as well as July.
As far as August is concerned, the city of Mumbai saw hefty rains in the beginning. However, since the last many days, Mumbai rains have been on the lower side. While the suburbs have been observing on and off good rains, the city has been only seeing rainfall in single digit.
In the last 24 hours also, the Santa Cruz observatory saw 6 mm of rainfall only. However, tonight, we did see the taste of some good showers over the city.
As per weathermen, Mumbai rains are all set to return for a short while. In fact, on account of a fresh Monsoon surge, Mumbai rains are likely to revisit on August 29 and 30. During this time, there are chances of moderate to heavy rains over the city which further may also result in some water logging in a few areas of the city of Mumbai.
