According to Skymet Weather, in absence of any major weather system over or near Maharashtra, the state is likely to record mainly dry weather conditions in the coming days.

However, being on the coast, only Konkan & Goa region will be able to record light to moderate showers but heavy to extremely heavy rains are ruled out.

Mumbai would also settle with short spell of rains but continues rains for longer duration will remain absent.

For the next 24 hours, we expect northern parts of Madhya Maharashtra to receive scattered light to moderate rains due to the affect of low pressure area over Southeast Rajasthan. Thus, place like Jalgaon, Dhule, Nashik and Malegaon may see scattered rains.

Pune and adjoining areas too see light rains but Nagpur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nanded and Parbhani will remain dry.
