Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur to remain dry

Rain in MaharashtraThe state of Maharashtra has been reeling under dry weather conditions since many days. However few stations of the coastal belt have recorded some rain and thundershower activity. The weather is very warm and uneasiness can be felt at many places.

The city of dreamsMumbaiis also currently witnessing dry weather. However, in the past day, adjoiningMahabaleshwarrecorded 24 mm of moderate intensity rain. Satara district also managed to record 7 mm of rain.

Light rain and thundershower also lashed thePunefor a short duration due to localized weather conditions and recorded mere rain of 0.3 mm. These scattered light rainfall activity can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which is marked over Goa and adjacent coast.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, few places in South Maharashtra, Coastal Maharashtra and NorthGoamay witness light rainfall activity due to the weather system prevailing near the region. Meanwhile, Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra will remain dry and the weather will be very hot across these regions.

Pune, Mumbai,Nashik, andNagpurare likely to remain dry during the next few days. As the vacation capital Goa may witness some rain and thundershower activity hence the weather will remain pleasant.
