According to Skymet Weather, a well-marked low pressure area is persisting over central parts of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining North Madhya Pradesh. This system is likely to shift slowly in southwest direction within the next 24 to 48 hours. The system is very likely to concentrate into a depression during the next 24 hours.

Due to this, the offshore trough along the West Coast is also likely to become active once again extending from South Gujarat to Kerala across Konkan region. With this, heavy to very heavy rains are possible to occur over at several places of Coastal Maharashtra after next 24 hours.
