Isolated very light rains have been recorded in Maharashtra during the last 24 hours. However, the weather over most of the places remained mainly dry. The day conditions were warm followed by a pleasant night.
According to our meteorologists, an upper airCyclonic Circulation is over the Northeast Arabian Seaand adjoining parts of South Coastal Gujarat in the lower troposphere.
In the wake of this system, the coastal areas of Maharashtra and adjoining parts of Madhya Maharashtra may experience light rain. Places like Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Harnai, Mumbai, Aurangabad, etc stand a chance to witness light rain during the next 24 hours. The day will be warm followed by a pleasant and comfortable night.
This trend would continue for the next three to four days for these two meteorological divisions. On the contrary, Marathwada andVidarbha may see mostly dry weatherwith an increase in the temperatures.
City-wise, Pune may observe mostly dry weather, however, after 24 to 36 hours, short spells of light rain may occur. Meanwhile, Mumbai may see warm days and comfortable nights along with short spells of scattered light rain. Winds would be light coupled with partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions.
