Multiple weather systems to bring in rains in parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan

The state of Himachal Pradesh has recorded scattered light rain with isolated moderate spells during the last 24 hours. A similar condition was seen in parts of Uttarakhand as well, while patchy rains appeared over plains of Northwest India.

Talking about the weather systems, a Cyclonic Circulation is over central parts of North Pakistan. And a Trough is extending from extreme East of Punjab. In addition to these systems, two Low-Pressure Areas are over North Madhya Pradesh across North Haryana and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh. A fresh Western Disturbance is also lying over Iran and adjoining Afghanistan.

All these weather systems would bring in scattered rains with isolated moderate spells in parts of Southeast Rajasthan, Southwest Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, patchy rains are likely in parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, North Haryana, East Rajasthan within the same time frame.

On the other hand, the weather of Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Northwest Rajasthan may remain mainly dry.

The rainfall activities are likely to increase due to the approach of a Western Disturbance and associated Cyclonic Circulation in West Uttar Pradesh, parts of Punjab, North Rajasthan and West Haryana by tomorrow.

City wise, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Sirsa may record moderate showers tomorrow, while light rains are likely over Banihal and Srinagar.
