Multiple Weather Systems In Pacific Ocean

West Pacific Ocean has been hyperactive ocean since the past few days.

Multiple weather systems in the form of tropical storms and tropical depressions have formed in the western parts of Pacific Ocean. All together these systems are 5 in number.

The active MJO, has resulted in stormy conditions over the region.

The five weather systems in the Pacific Ocean are as follows –

1 – Tropical Storm – AMPIL

It is located in the East China Sea. It has already lashed China’s East coast and is now on the path of recurving.

2 – Tropical Storm – SON-TINH

It is located in the Gulf of Tongking and is expected to effect North Vietnam, Laos and Hainan area.

3 – Tropical Storm 14

This lies far to the east, deep in the Pacific Ocean and is heading northwards recurving.

4 -Tropical Depression 13

This lies at a safe distance, east of Taiwan and is seen heading towards East China Coast.

5 – Tropical Depression 15

This depression is likely to become Tropical Storm and later even Category 1 Typhoon. However, it is likely to remain far to east, deep in the ocean moving north/northweswards for the next two to three days.
