Rains in Rajasthan have been moderate to heavy in the last 24 hours. These showers were seen in the southeastern parts in cities of Bhilwara, Udaipur, Kota.
In fact, as far as the rainfall figures are concerned, in the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Udaipur recorded 65 mm of rains, Bhilwara recorded 24 mm of rains.
Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, we expect on and off good rains to continue today, mostly over northeast and eastern districts of Rajasthan today.
Thereafter, rains are all set to increase significantly over East Rajasthan. The reason for these rains is the presence of a depression in Bay of Bengal, which will further see an intensification and move inland. Thus, around August 7 and 8, heavy to very heavy rains will be seen in southeast and eastern parts of the state of Rajasthan.
From August 9, however, rainfall will see a reduction significantly. Thus, in a nutshell, east and southeast Rajasthan will see heavy to heavy rains in the next two to three days while the western parts of the state will have to settle with just light rains only.
