The Silicon Valley of India observed sporadic light rains during the first half of September. Regardless of this, Bengaluru relished pleasant weather conditions.
Normally, the month of September is considered as the rainiest month for the IT hub with an average rainfall of 213 mm. It is very exceptional that Bengaluru records heavy showers, as mostly the city rejoices moderate rain and thundershowers during this month.
However, situation changed during the second half of the month. As per the weather records, Bengaluru has been witnessing relentless rains of light to moderate intensity since the last five days. During this period, the city has already surpassed 100 mm, which is half way through the monthly average.
Similar weather was seen in the past 24 hours, when Bengaluru recorded 11 mm of rains. Skymet Weather anticipates light to moderate rainfall to continue for the next few days, paving way for pleasant weather. We do not hope for any heavy showers at least for the moment.
Throughout September, the city usually reports minimums under 20 degree-mark. Correspondingly, maximums do not exceed 30°C.
The city, as of yesterday, recorded day temperature at 28°C, which is one degree below the normal. Similarly, Bengaluru registered night temperature at 20°C.
