More Pre-Monsoon showers ahead for Bengaluru

The month of April ended on a rainy note for the city of Bengaluru. Not only this, the entire month of April was rainy enough for Bengaluru. The worst sufferers of the rains have been the IPL team of Royal Challengers Bangalore, rain gods have played games multiple times in Bengaluru during their match.

Temperatures have also been settling just about a notch above the normal levels. The last 24 hours were also rainy enough for the garden city of India. In fact, Bangalore Airport in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday witnessed a good 14 mm of rainfall. Not only this, he city also observed some rains.

These weather conditions can be attributed to the presence of a trough over the South Interior Karnataka region. Moist winds from the Bay of Bengal have increased over the region. As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, the trough is expected to persist for the next few days over the region.

Thus, rainy days are expected to continue over the capital city of Karnataka for the next few days. The intensity is likely to be light to moderate in nature. These rains will result in the drop of temperatures over the region. Thus, maximums may settle in the early 30s.
