The last 24 hours were also of no difference and the garden city recorded 15 mm of rainfall. This weather situation can be credited to the trough that is extending from Interior Odisha to South Tamil Nadu across Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka.
Owing to this weather feature, the moisture levels have amplified over the entire city, leading to cloud formation and finally resulting in rain and thundershowers.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, the trough is likely to persist with slight oscillation to west. Hence, Bengaluru will witness light to moderate showers during the next 4 to 5 days.
