The state of Telangana badly needed rains due to the regio not having seen enough Monsoon rains. However, there have been decent rains over the state with some intense showers being observed in the last 24 hours wherein Hanamkonda saw 95 mm of rains, Nizamabad 60 mm, Hyderabad 49 mm, Ramangundam 45 mm, and Medak 41 mm.
Due to these rains, the state has turned normal. Now also, the the state is expected to see more rainfall activity in the next two days. Earlier a cyclonic circulation was over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which had given rains over this region now that circulation has merged with the low pressure area however the convergence zone continues to be there as a remnant and will give more rainfall over this region.
The cities of Khammam, Adilabad, Warangal, Ramagundam, Nizamabad, Hyderabad, Medak, and Mahbubnagar will see rain for the next two more days. rains will reduce thereafter.
