Bihar has been witnessing subdued Monsoon conditions since last few days leading to rain deficiency to the tune of 18%. However, weather conditions are now all set to change.
The axis of Monsoon trough, which has been running south of its position, has now once again oscillated towards north across Bihar. Thus, we anticipate good rains to make comeback over the state.

Weathermen are predicting moderate to heavy showers in parts of Bihar until September 13. In fact, heavy spells are likely to lash the mountains of Nepal as well.
These good rain and thundershowers are expected over the northern districts of Bihar, that may instigate flood like conditions over many districts. Sitamarhi, Champaran, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishenganj would be some of the places that face the threat of flash floods.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh is already battling floods like conditions over places like Unnao, Kanpur and Farrukhabad. No relief is in expected as we presume moderate to heavy showers to lash northwestern parts of Uttar Pradesh for another 48 hours. As a consequence, flood situation will remain implacable with situation even worsening further.
According to Skymet Weather, the intensity of rainfall over Bihar as well as Uttar Pradesh would start decreasing by September 15, bringing in some relief.
