The city of Mumbai has now finally bid adieu to Southwest Monsoon as Monsoon has withdrawn from the region. It was as it is obvious since Mumbai had been seeing dry weather conditions and with this, the withdrawal of Monsoon was anticipated as well.

Now, we do not expect any rainfall activity for the city of Mumbai in the coming days as well. As it is Mumbai does not see rainfall after the withdrawal of monsoon for months to come.

The only time the city sees any rainfall is when a weather system forms in the Arabian Sea and comes in proximity to the Konkan coast. The reason for no rainfall over Mumbai during the non-monsoon months can be attributed to its distance from North India, which is affected by the Western Disturbance. Along with this, the systems down south are also far away to give any rain.

Temperatures may rise for some time over the city of Mumbai as the month of October remains hot and uncomfortable. It is only in the month of November that the temperatures see some drop and comfortable weather is observed.
