The city of Mumbai generally sees retreating Monsoon rains but then this time, rains have stopped quite abruptly. This month, initial two days saw some light rains. However, during the last three days, there have been no rains and we do not expect any showers.
Moreover, rains are almost over for the city as such. For Mumbai, normal October rains is at 91.3 mm but it doesn't look likely for now as Monsoon is all set to withdraw from Mumbai in a couple of days. Also, in the coming two days, no rains are likely.
After withdrawal of Monsoon, Mumbai does not see rains for months. Rainfall is seen if a post Monsoon Cyclone or system forms in the Arabian Sea and nears the Konkan coast. Otherwise, Mumbai remains almost silent until the first half of April.
With this, maximums will rise to even about 35 degrees, thus, sultry weather is expected. Sea breeze will be predominant and land breeze will be there only in morning hours. Humdity will rise to 80 percent in morning, drop down to 40 percent during the day and again increase to 70 percent by the evening hours.
